3-2-1 Gratitude, Idealism, and Reality Check
Jun 09, 2025Feeling overwhelmed with gratitude today.
Not because of money or anything material— but because of what my life looks like every day.
I get to wake up and build impactful businesses that make a real difference— and I get to do it alongside some of the hardest-working motherfuckers in my field.
It’s truly the biggest honor to be able to lead and run beside you all.
You’re making a difference. You inspire me to be better every single day.
Thank you for everything.
I love you guys.
3 Insights from Me
1. Idealism vs. Reality.
The world will tell you everyone is special, everyone deserves greatness, and everyone’s life will be wildly fulfilling.
It’s a nice thought. But statistically? It’s just not true.
And it’s this gap between what sounds good and what’s real that’s wrecking people—and society.
Idealists act based on how they wish things were.
When the results don’t match the fantasy, they complain, protest, and blame.
Realists? They deal in facts.
They take the world as it is—flawed, hard, messy—and make moves that actually create results.
The truth isn’t popular. Which is exactly why it’s so damn important.
We’re living in a culture full of noise: Lies, division, propaganda—pushed by people who profit off chaos.
We’ve replaced facts with feelings. We’ve created enemies out of anyone who disagrees.
If we keep prioritizing being “right” over doing what’s right, we all lose.
But only the real ones will get it.
2. Stop explaining yourself
“Because I fucking like it” is a perfectly acceptable reason for doing what you do. Remember that.
3. Be cool.
People are out here chasing “cool” like it’s something you can buy—tattoos, muscles, a beard, flashy cars, designer clothes, watches, likes, followers.
None of that makes you cool.
Real cool? It’s earned by doing the hard work of figuring out exactly who you are and living that life fully, unapologetically, and in a way that actually impacts others in a positive way.
That’s the only kind of cool that lasts.
And here’s the truth: cool isn’t just how people see you—it’s how you see yourself.
And you’ll never see yourself clearly if you’re living in a way that doesn’t line up with who you really are.
So if you want to feel good, live good. Do the work. Show up for yourself. Handle your business. That’s the only kind of “cool” that actually means something.

1. On Action
You can’t build a reputation on what you’re going to do.”
—Henry Ford
People respect results, not intentions. Your actions, not your plans, build your brand.
2. On Discipline
"It’s not deep. It’s discipline. You feel exposed? Good. That means you've found the weakness. Now attack it."
—Andy Frisella
Growth doesn’t come from comfort—it comes from confronting the parts of you that make you uncomfortable and grinding them into strengths.
