3-2-1 The Mirror of Life, Perspective, & The Value of Now
Aug 18, 2025Some thought provoking stuff I've come across lately as I navigate this huge growth period of my life.
3 Insights from Me
1. Perspective
I know that all the wealth I accumulate over the next 20 years…
In 20 years, I would gladly give it all back just to return to this exact moment.
With this health, this body, and this much time still ahead of me.
Which means that right now is more valuable than all the wealth I’ll ever generate in the next two decades.
2. Your nervous system is always listening.
If you’re constantly telling yourself you’re “behind” or “not enough,” your body responds with stress. Talk to yourself like someone you actually want to win.
3. Relationships are mirrors, not crutches.
The people around you reflect your current standards, habits, and beliefs. Upgrade yourself, and you’ll naturally upgrade who’s drawn into your orbit.
2 Quotes from Others
1. On deep personal change:
“The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.”
— Carl Jung
Authenticity isn’t found, it’s remembered. Strip away the noise and listen to what’s always been there.
2. On the paradox of the mind:
“Man suffers only because he takes seriously what the gods made for fun.”
— Alan Watts
A reminder that sometimes the weight you carry isn’t real, it’s perspective.
