3-2-1 Finding REAL Value, Avoiding Pretenders, & Resourcefulness
Jul 08, 2025Mixed bag this week of some things I've come across lately...
3 Insights from Me
1. Most people are pretending.
Especially in their 20s and 30s. Rented cars. Fake followers. Curated lifestyles.
I spent years thinking I was behind... but I wasn’t behind.
I was just watching too many people play pretend.
2. REAL value.
The car, the house, the watch... They seem valuable because they’re unattainable to most.
But once you get them, you realize: They’re not actually valuable.
They’re just hard to get.
There's a big difference.
2. Poverty fuels hunger. Comfort kills it.
Conor McGregor fought like hell when he had nothing. I was so captivated by his journey in the late 2010's.
But the moment he “made it,” the edge dulled.
There’s something powerful about having no backup plan.
When you have to make it work…
You do.
2 Quotes from Others
1. On Growth
"Comfort is a slow death. Prefer pain."
— Naval Ravikant
Growth never comes from easy days. The more comfort you cling to, the more potential you leave on the table.
2. On Resourcefulness
"It's not your lack of resources. It's your lack of resourcefulness."
— Tony Robbins
When you have nothing, you’re forced to get creative. And that creativity is often more powerful than any tool money can buy.
1 Question for You
Would you still be hungry if you had everything you wanted right now?
P.S. Just let go...
