3-2-1 Brutal Honesty, Saying No, and the Problem with Titles

May 07, 2025

Deep post birthday thoughts this week...

3 Insights from Me

1. We seem to be living in a time where people want to dislike you and stay connected to you.

They don’t want to support, encourage, or help—they just want to be loosely connected to your energy.

This is a spiritual battle between lost souls and those living with purpose. Protect your peace.

2. Sometimes the biggest opportunity is the ability to say "no."

When something isn’t aligned with your values, turning it down creates two opportunities:
– To stay in integrity and not compromise your vision.
– To create space for something better to take its place.

I'm getting dangerously good at this.

3. Avoid the arrogance of titles, labels, or positions.

No one cares about what you call yourself—they care about what you can do for them.

Ego blinds. Energy attracts. The world responds to energy, not titles.

2 Quotes from Others

1. On brutal honesty:

“You’re not afraid of being judged—you’re afraid they’ll agree with the judgment you already hold about yourself.”
Tim Denning

Most fear of judgment is just self-rejection in disguise. Heal that, and their opinions lose power.

2. On boldness:

“If it doesn’t feel a little dangerous, it’s probably not worth your time.”
— Dan Koe

The real work, the work that matters, always carries risk. That’s how you know it’s real.

1 Question for You

Water has no effect on fake flowers.
What fake flowers are you still watering?

P.S. THIS is the truth.
